What I liked was that you fill the tail with slime, which most kids love to play with. The only problem with this doll is that she has no legs, so all you can do with her is her being a mermaid. But my granddaughter loves it so I am happy with this item.
My kids really like these too! We have purchased at least 60 of these little toys. Two tips: dogs chew them up easily, do not leave them soaking in water for days on end (example: non draining bath tub toy bin). The coating will dissolve and get stuck in their hair when they take a bath.
Cute set, markers stay in place, but container won't stay closed.
Good value and cute container. The markers click in and are held snugly in place. The container itself, however, doesn't like to stay closed. We store it out of toddler reach only for this reason. Even bumping it gently makes it pop open. I only knocked it one star for that though because, otherwise, it's a great value and the critters clean off perfectly every time.
These are a huge hit in our house! My kids (ages 6 and 9) absolutely love coloring the little animals, giving them baths and starting all over again. It keeps them busy without a screen, and the creativity is endless. The markers wash off easily with just water, and cleanup is surprisingly low effort.

The VTech Baby Learn and Swim Aquarium is honestly one of the best baby toys we’ve bought.
